In 1996 Bill wrote the Pre-American history of the Keeney Surname was included in Roscoe C. Keeney's for March of that year, in June of '98 Carol found my old site & posted some replies to messages left on the message board. In reading them, I noticed that the e-mail address they had set off a bell in my head, so I wrote an e-mail asking if Bill was the one who wrote the article on the Keeney surname and the reply was yes that he had.

I asked if it would be all right to post the article on the site, & was told that Bill wanted to rewrite it and after it was completed it would be all right to do so. Both versions are on the site.
